Phones are not cheap, and this is why you need to think a lot before investing in a new one. None of us want to be stuck with a phone that doesn’t deliver on our expectations. 1. Battery

Everyone wants a phone that will work for a full day and won’t die on them at any point in time. But, some people use their phones more than others, especially if you are an influence or work as social media manager. This is why it is one of the most important features that you need to consider when looking out for a new phone.

A higher number of mAh doesn’t necessarily mean that the phone will have a longer battery life because there are a lot of other factors that come into consideration that dictate how long your phone’s battery will last. There are a lot of factors that come into play here, and you need to know them.

One of the biggest examples is that a screen with higher resolution will consume more energy even if it has the latest processors that optimize battery life. Currently, 4000 mAh is considered the standard, but read views online for the specific phone you want to buy and look at the benchmarks.

2. Price

No matter if you want the latest iPhone or Samsung phone on the market, you should look at your budget first before you buy any phone. Your budget will limit you and will show you what kind of phone you can afford. You should always respect your budget and shouldn’t splurge if you don’t have the money for this.

Look at the phone that will fit your need and budget; there is no need to spend your whole salary on the newest phone when another phone will do the same job. Buying a new phone shouldn’t render you broke, and you should buy a phone that respects your budget and won’t make you regret your life decision alter on.

3. Internal storage

new

As someone who works as a book editor, I have a lot of things on my phone, not all of them are necessary, but they are still there. This is why I need a phone that has a pretty big internal storage. If you are a fan of Android, you will want to check the RAM and internal storage for more details.

You should also look at how much space the pre-installed apps take and how much space is left for Androids. Of course, you can always add a MicroSD card which will expand your smartphone’s external capacity, but you are always recommended to find a phone with a larger internal memory instead of opting for an external card.

However, before you buy a phone that has 128G or even 256GB of internal storage, you should ask yourself realistically how much space will you really use. Even though it is better to be safe than sorry, phones with greater internal memory are also more costly, which you should remind yourself.

Realistically if you aren’t using your phone as an external hard drive for your laptop or computer, then 64GB should be more than okay. Also, you should take advantage of services like the Cloud or Google Drive to save space on your phone. A rule of thumb is that you should always look for a phone with at least 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.

These are only some of the things you need to consider when you are buying your next new phone. Remember to respect your budget and make use that you are purchasing a phone that fits your need and not just for the aesthetics.
